The Subconscious Aspects of Business
A 60-90 minute keynote presentation designed to show the audience specific techniques for getting and staying focused on their goals. The emphasis is simply that if you study top performers in almost any profession, they are all "programming" themselves on a regular basis in order to stay motivated. Motivation, for most people, is transitory and difficult to maintain unless one repeatedly and consistently keeps the mind centered. Two, simple, hands-on techniques that participants can immediately begin using to push up production are shown. Then, the use of Self-hypnosis as a business tool is discussed after which volunteers from the audience are brought onstage and hypnotized. The hypnotized volunteers are given suggestions that illustrate how the technique can aid business performance. This portion of the talk is wildly entertaining but also highly educational. The most common comment from attendees is " I learned a lot about how to correctly set goals and I haven't laughed that hard in years."
Visionary Thinking
a 60-90 minute presentation describing how the modern era is systematically destroying human attention spans, and what can be done about it. The use of computers, smart phones, tweets social networking and multitasking etc. all increase productivity but at the expense of being able to concentrate and stay "in the moment". After first describing the problem, participants are shown specific techniques to counteract that effect and increase one's ability to get their mind "out of the clouds" and focus, particularly when doing business. Self-Hypnosis is one of the techniques discussed and after first describing how to use it, volunteers from group are brought forward, hypnotized, and given suggestions to demonstrate how it works. Audiences are amazed and entertained as they see the power of suggestion at work. Participants leave with a better understanding as to how the digital age affects them mentally, and tools to counteract that affect.
