| Swimming Champion, Most Medalled US Olympic Athlete in Any Sport |
Swimming champion Jenny Thompson competed in four Olympic Games and is the Most Medalled U.S. Olympic athlete in any sport of all-time (12 medals). After a two year hiatus from her incredible swimming career to attend medical school, Jenny got back in the pool. Still passionate about swimming, she wanted to motivate young swimmers to stay in the sport. In her first swim meet after only training for 5 weeks, she had a personal best! At 30 year's old she broke several American records and won 5 medals at the 2003 World Championships.
