Considered the strongest man in America, Shane Hamman began his career as a powerlifter, then crossed over to Olympic style weightlifting for an opportunity to compete in the Olympic Games. With a 22-inch bicep, 35-inch thigh and 62-inch chest, Hamman says he consumes up to 7000 calories a day. His easygoing nature and charisma make him a favorite of corporations and civic groups alike. Continually improving, Shane and is on track to win the first medal for the US in men's weightlifting in 20 years.
