In addition, he was instrumental in the promotion of body building and in the direction of physical education programming.
Harvey was also a highly successful business manager in the food and restaurant industry. As supervisor, he helped alter the attitudes of employees. With a "Number 1" record in this business, Harvey gained insight into the many aspects of customer service.
Mr. Alston authored four books, including: Be the Best: A Focus on Individual Responsibility for Achieving and Black Males: An African American View on Raising Young Men.
