David Feherty was born in a seaside town in Northern Ireland. Feherty enjoyed a very successful professional golf career, with 10 victories worldwide and over $3 million in prize money. In 1997, Feherty retired from professional golf when offered a position as a golf commentator for CBS Sports. Feherty's success extends beyond broadcasting. He is an accomplished author, and makes appearances at various clinics and outings throughout the year. Feherty's goal is to encourage people to remember that golf is fun.
