
Ed Koch’s career in government began in 1967 when he was elected to the New York City Council. In 1968 he was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives & in 1978 became the Mayor of New York City. Following his tenure as Mayor for three terms, Koch returned to practicing law by joining Robinson Silverman. He also writes a weekly column on topics of the day for the Daily News, and is an Adjunct Professor at NYU. He lectures around the country and overseas, has written several books and recently appeared daily on the The People's Court.
