| Inspiration for the Movie Invincible, Oldest Rookie in NFL History |

Vince Papale is a Graduate of Interboro High School and was a varsity letter winner in football, basketball, and track. In 1976, at the age of 30, Vince tried out for the Philadelphia Eagles, made the team, and became the oldest rookie in the history of the NFL…a record he still holds!! He was with the Eagles for four seasons until a shoulder injury ended his career in 1979. After retiring from the Eagles in 1980, he got into sports broadcasting for eight years, before taking a position as a Marketing Executive for Sallie Mae.
