Hal’s journalism career began as a reporter at the University of Chicago. For 19 years, Bruno was responsible for the planning and editorial content of political news on the ABC Television and Radio Networks. He retired in July of 1997, but remained at ABC News as a consultant, political analyst, and host of a weekly interview program that has been broadcast on the ABC Radio Networks since 1981.
