Mr. Master Mind, Freddy Cameron, is the very definition of a self-made man. The retail extraordinaire got his start as a utility clerk– a fancy title for grocery cart pusher– for a local grocery store as he worked his way through school. Freddy's talent for retail made such an impression with the store leadership, Freddy was promoted to supervisor in a matter of a year. Freddy's rise in retail continued as he landed a position as a leader in merchandising for one of the nation's largest big box retailers.
Freddy started his career with Costco Wholesale in 1998 as a Foods Grocery Merchandiser. He then became Foods Grocery Supervisor and was later promoted to Senior Merchandise Manager in 2003 where he oversaw Merchandising Operations for a $300 Million Warehouse locations. He was promoted to a Regional Merchandising Position in 2006 and while in this role, he worked with the Regional Buying Teams in the areas of Food, Grocery and other specialty areas. In 2013, Freddy left Costco and took a position at Sam's Club as the General Manager of Operations for the Los Angeles Metro area where he oversaw Club Operations and Merchandising, with a focus on Supplier Diversity. Freddy left Sam’s Club in 2016 and now focuses on helping consumer product entrepreneurs grow their brands, consults organizations on various new retail strategies and public speaking engagements on various retail and entrepreneur topics. Graduating with Honors, Freddy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from American Public University, West Virginia.
Freddy was a former Co-host on the CW Network Television series "Hatched," where he served as the show retail expert.
