As the son of a US executive, he was born and raised abroad in a number of locales, and has explored over 100 countries on six continents during his lifetime. After earning his M.A. at the University of Chicago, Bill spent several years in the airline industry and spent considerable time traveling the globe, interacting with global leaders and researching his books.
