9 Keynote Speakers Who Defy Generational Differences With Millennials

Posted by uberuser

I think the stigma surrounding millennials in the workplace can be attributed to rapid advancements in technology. Unlike Gen X, Y, and Z, technology has played a vital role in the formative years of Millennials.

As a millennial, I remember what it was like to have access to anything and everything on the internet. From a young age, we have been able to explore the depths of the world wide web, and because of this, we’ve taught ourselves a variety of skills and gained knowledge on all kinds of topics. However, some people have the notion that millennials have an attitude of irritating self-entitlement. Which is believed to be true for some, but should not be the perceived stereotype for all.

That stereotype often leads to a common problem in the business world, and can create a barrier between contrasting generations; disrupting the natural flow of conversation and ideas at the workplace. Personally, I believe each age group can genuinely learn something from one another, but by not taking the opportunity to work together, both sides run the risk of losing something that could be extremely beneficial.

The following 9 keynote speakers spent a lot of time and effort learning how different generations think. Any speaker would be an excellent candidate to give your organization compelling insight at your next event!
