We know Humor is Healthy for us, we know Humor if fun. So why don’t we specifically engage in Humor as part of our work life and embrace how it can elevate our connections and yes, even productivity?  Dane will share how he incorporated humor into working with troubled youth, and how finding the kid in all of us is a great way to tap into joy, optimism and work-life satisfaction.  Or you can just sit back, relax and enjoy the show.  This is Dane’s “Go To” presentation.

One of Dane’s newest presentations, this keynote is an opportunity just to relax and enjoy the absurdity of life, when we really stop to think about it. So why not embrace and revel when we shake our heads at the silliness, instead of focusing on the discord?  Keeping Perspective allows us to stay sane and move forward.  But really, this is just a fun presentation, enjoy it – this won’t change your life.  Nice reset presentation after heavy topics.

Now more than ever the workplace seems to highlight the difference between Generations, in experience, motive, technology, and communication styles.  Instead of always criticizing other generations, how about we celebrate them.  We will have some fun laughing at ourselves, something we ALL have in common, while learning how we might best open our minds to each others strengths.

Dane will take the group through discovering different personality profiles, including their own, and why standards and personalities of other groups seem so irritating. The interactive process will hopefully lead participants to a better understanding that they won’t always get along with everyone, and that’s ok, but there are techniques to reducing the anxiety and tension when working with others so different from yourself. This session is best with less than 50 people, though can be modified for larger groups.

“Right Sizing”,  Pandemics, Staffing Shortages, Generational Shifting, Leadership Adjustments, when will it stop? Never, because Change is Inevitable.  What can remain consistent is how a person accepts and welcomes change, finding the positive and even humor in how life doesn’t stay the same.   We will look at changes we all are experiencing, address the fear, then open to the opportunities.  And we will laugh at ourselves a bit along the way.

During this interactive session, meant to break up a heavy content day, Dane shares the power of meaningful communication to develop relationships in the workplace.  The current social climate where rules for appropriate behavior and issues about offending each other seem to overshadow the  workplace, we have not only the ability but moreover the responsibility to connect with each other. This increases retention, satisfaction in the workplace and oh yeah, life in general.  Bring your cell phones to this session. This can be a main presentation but works better in groups less than 100.
