He is also the author of Empower Yourself to Succeed!, a video based learning system for personal development now utilized by more than 160 prisons across the country.
Desi is also making an impact in the health care industry as an LADC, (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor) at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. With healthcare always a critical initiative in our society, Desi is becoming a mouthpiece for an underserved segment within the industry. Whether it’s a workshop or keynote speaking to a large group, he’s gives people the resources to transform their thinking by teaching them how to become emotionally available-(EA) and cultivate resilience even during the toughest times.
