PODCAST Interview: Doc Hendley, CNN Hero, Wine to Water Organizer

Posted by Sheldon Senek

Doc HendleyThere are those who can talk about making a difference, and then there are those who are out there making a difference. Doc Hendley, started out with one simple goal: to provide clean drinking water to those in need. This bartender from North Carolina decided to meet one of the world’s greatest challenges by raising enough money to dig wells in Sudan, Ethiopia, Uganda, India, Cambodia, and an orphanage in Peru. Doc Hendley really is a hero who had the courage to meet a challenge and believe that one person really can change this world.

Doc Hendley has taken personal risks to do the hard work of providing water and clean water education in far flung locations around the globe.

In this Eagles Talent Podcast episode, host Sheldon Senek talks with Doc Hendley (during Doc’s trip to Haiti to deliver water filters) about saving lives, one drop of water at a time.
