Ann joined Eagles Talent back in 2008. Prior to joining Eagles Talent, Ann spent 10 years working in public television on public affairs and entertainment programming.
We asked Ann for a quick insight in understanding the role an event manager has in helping clients after they book a speaker. With several years of experience under her belt, Ann provided the perfect look into the process of handling an event.
“Once our account executive works with the client to choose the speaker/entertainer for their date, I assist by issuing final contracts and invoices, as well as publicity materials to help promote the appearance,” Ann said.
By completing these tasks, event managers lessen the stress of the event planner all while making sure the process goes as smooth as possible for all parties involved.
Furthermore, Ann states that “event managers are the go-to people for any logistical questions the client or speaker may have,” she says. “We can assist with books sales and conference calls, and of course, provide a final itinerary for the upcoming event to ensure that everyone is on the same page!”
