Raymont Harris is a former NFL running back, keynote speaker, and founder of Elite Mindset & Performance (EMP). His signature keynote, Control the Controllables, teaches teams how to perform under pressure, lead through change, and stay accountable when it matters most.
Raymont’s approach comes from experience, not theory. After six seasons in the NFL, he spent 15 years in leadership at The Ohio State University, advising championship coaches, C-suite executives, and entrepreneurs in high-stakes environments where results matter. His leadership work has helped secure more than $100 million in philanthropic support, and his impact stretches across industries from trucking to tech to athletics.
Raymont also leads the Jean & Raymont Harris Foundation, which provides support for families affected by maternal mortality and helps former athletes navigate life after sports. His upcoming book, Control the Controllables: Mindset, Pressure, and the Power of Control, releases in 2026 and expands on the eight controllables that anchor his framework: Belief, Positivity, Commitment, Patience, Consistency, Adaptability, Resilience, and Effort.
