A recent report by Health Advocate suggests that, stress related issues are responsible for as much as $300 billion in lost productivity annually. Furthermore, over a million employees miss work each day due to high amounts of stress, related to aspects involving their job. Another huge issue with a high stress environment is the increased spending on health insurance by a staggering 46%, employees that are continually stressed are responsible for almost 90% of doctor’s visits.
